Today the fourth graders in Mrs. Axtell’s class worked on descroptive writing. The students used winter pictures and put them into Comic Life. Then they wrote the most descriptive sentence they could third of about each pictures. How many adjectives can you think of to describe winter?
Mrs. Harrison’s first graders worked in Pixie today. They took their pictures as if they were sitting with Santa. They were able to write anything they wanted to him. They could ask him a question or tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
Mrs. Slayton started a fabulous Pixie lesson with the second graders in the library based on the books Snowmen at Christmas and Snowmen at Night. I was there to help a little with Ms. Patterson’s class. She later worked with Ms. Schemmel’s and Ms. Peterson’s classes. Together, they made a wonderful Pixie slide show about what snowmen do when we’re not watching them.
