I love using pages. There are so many great things that this program does that Appleworks or even Word can’t do. These 3rd grade students took their rough drafts and entered them into a blank Pages document. We added pictures that we took on PhotoBooth and dragged in a turtle picture from the student server as well. We also learned how to center text and change the size of the text using keyboard shortcuts. These students did a fantastic job typing their work as well. If you get your kids typing now, it won’t be long before their word per minute totals will increase dramatically.
