Editing in Pages

Upper elementary students can collaborate by reading other’s writing, and adding comments using that feature in Pages.  What a great way to practice editing skills; by reading someone else’s writing and making constructive comments.  Students are far harder on each other than the teachers are.

Photo 19These students are working together  discussing what would sound better in a specific sentence.  If you aren’t sure how to use this feature, let me know and I’ll show you some great examples.

Teachers, you can also use the comments feature to keep from printing multiple copies of work while it is still in progress.  The students love to see if you have left them a “message”.
