Today Ms. Slayton and I did a collaborative lesson with Keynote. Ms. Slayton, the librarian, had the fifth grade students research animals. They had to find important information about habitats, coverings, food, etc. We then put all the information into a keynote.
Ms. Warthan’s kindergartner did a fabulous lesson on pumpkins. She showed her class a Discovery Streaming clip on how pumpkins grow. Next, the students had to do a Pixie activity where they sequenced the growth of the pumpkins.
Mrs. Curtis’ first graders wrote about fall. Then each student typed their sentence in Pixie and illustrated it. Look at what a great job they did!
