Principal Updates
Esports: We want your Esports Club to Smash into Summer with Us!
Smash into Summer 2 is back and bigger than ever! We invite all middle school esports clubs to participate in the meet being held on Thursday, May 23, from 10 AM to 12 PM, at the beautiful new Advanced Career Education Center at Hermitage HS. All Esports athletes will travel by bus, compete in the meet, enjoy a pizza lunch, and return to school around 1 PM. Please contact your ILC to get your Esports Club signed up ASAP, as Travel Tracker arrangements will need to be completed by 4/23.

Transfer Deadline: The Transfer Process applies to teachers and other eligible employees seeking lateral moves to another building or program. The deadline to transfer is May 24, 2024. Transfer recommendations (accompanied by complete recommendation packets) must be received in Human Resources by the close of business in order to be extended. No transfer offers will be extended if received after 4:30 p.m. on May 24, 2024. The following employees are eligible:
- Teachers
- Innovative Learning Coaches (ILCs)
- Coordinators of Assessment and
Remediation (CARs) - Librarians
- School Counselors
UPDATE Middle School Reading Specialists from Kendall: We are getting very close to having 10 Middle School Reading Specialists hired. I am very excited about the candidates that we are working with. Please remember that the reading specialist assigned to your school will need a classroom, and they can not be assigned an advisory. I will update this document as soon as we complete the hiring process. Please reach out if you have any scheduling questions.
