First Grade Flash
October 30, 2017 Welcome!
Have you sent in your money for Young Scientist? If not, please send the$20.00 ASAP. These science lessons correlate with our class studies and engage the students in hands on activities. Each child has a “take home” activity to continue the exploration at home.
To sign up for a November conference, please access the sign up online via Signup Genius. Conferences will be held Monday (after school) on November 6 and the morning of Tuesday, November 7th.
In math we are completing our unit on graphs. We have learned to
brainstorm ways to ask quality data questions, input the data into graphs, use different types of graphs, and ask and answer questions about our graphs. We have used our problem solving skills by collecting data and creating graphs using word problems.
