BOOK FAIR and SUMMER READING!

Have YOU signed up your family for Henrico County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club? Yes? Yay!  No? No worries!  We will make it quick and easy for you when you come to our June 8th Kick Off to Summer Reading  Book Fair! Just bring your Henrico County PUBLIC Library card and we will have computers set up in the LLC for you to register.

Then, be sure to check our Summer Reading page for the links to TONS of resources to keep your family reading all summer long! Information was sent home in last week’s folder, along with a handy card to keep track of all your summer reading!  Read anything you want for 20 minutes a day for at least 20 days and you will be eligible for awesome prizes!  Plus!  You will help us remain Summer Reading Champions! Please remember, all days must be submitted online in order to count.

All Summer Reading Lists for rising 1st-12th grade can be found and downloaded HERE. Please note that the accompanying summer reading assignment for rising 6th grade students is mandatory, and there is a separate assignment for IB students. Lists for rising 1st-5th grade students are suggestions only; there is no required assignment.

Attention all 5th grade parents!

Honor your fifth grade coyote in a special and lasting way. Select a legacy book at the bbgb Kick–Off to Summer Book Fair on Thursday, 6/8 to place in our Library Learning Commons collection for all future coyotes!  A flyer was sent home last week with all the information.  Please come to the bbgb Book Fair, select a book, and fill out the form if you would like to participate!
