The Richmond chapter of the American Red Cross has two ways that you can do community service in Henrico County.
First, you can create a Red Cross Club at your school. You’ll need a teacher and at least 4 students who are interested. You can read more about it here. You can get more information by emailing Erin Dempsey at Erin.dempsey@redcross.org.
You can also participate in the The Home Fire Safety Campaign. You will work with the local Fire Department to get smoke detectors in people’s houses. You can read a story about this, here.
