Fall 2016 Richmond Folk Festival: Volunteers needed

The Richmond Folk Festival is coming up in October, and we have plenty of Community Service Volunteer opportunities to offer you!  We are the largest FREE Folk Festival in America, with over 200,000 guests each year, and we need your help to keep things running smoothly.

We offer great opportunities for school groups to earn Community Service hours and have a great time while doing it!

We have our greatest need for large numbers of Volunteers for the “Bucket Brigade” on Saturday, October 8, from 11:00 am – 3:30 pm or 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm and on Sunday, October 9 we need help from 11:00 am – 3:30 pm or 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm. This is an important volunteer job since these are the folks who help us keep the Festival FREE!

If you would like any other information about volunteering with the Richmond Folk Festival, please don’t hesitate to contact  dianerichmondfolkfest@gmail.com or 804-229-2550. We are currently filling spaces for volunteers and will need to have your signup completed by Friday, September 23rd in order to be ready for the Festival.
