Fostering Animals is one way that students can earn volunteer hours for school. However, it’s also one of the more difficult ways to track hours. Here is what you need to know:
- Fostering animals needs to be in conjunction with a licensed animal agency/care facility, e.g. SPCA or something similar. It can’t just be strays in your neighborhood
- Any training provided can count for hours
- Because fostering doesn’t have a set timeframe, students can earn 1 hour per day (per kitten) for fostering.
