The new Health and PE teacher did his student teaching in Chesterfield county last year. He mentioned talking with his cooperating teacher and getting ideas. When he explained the Partner Pacer, I thought that would be the perfect opportunity for the two schools to have a little cross-county competition. This year, partners were established between classes within each school. As those partners ran the Pacer Test, their laps were tracked and entered on a Google form. The response form calculated the distance each school ran and showed the results on an embedded graph. Next year we hope to make this a year long project where each school can create videos to challenge the other school along the way.
