Being active in Professional Organizations is an important part of Professional Growth and Leadership. As part of the Executive Board for VERA my responsibilities include making the registration and communication process seamless and efficient. I am working on revising the webpage as well as turning the proposal submission and evaluation in to an automated series of Google Forms. We will starting our first official publication after the 2016 VERA Conference.
