This lesson is for : Grade 12:

Summary

Students will present media campaigns (TV, Print, Radio) focused on four key messages with two different campaigns per message. This year, the messages cover a variety of SOL related topics designed to persuade teens to change their behavior for success on the upcoming SOL tests. Part 1 of the 2 phase project: Students will present their advertising proposals to a panel of judges (the Shark Tank), including a local Advertising Executive from Pound, Feinstein & Associates. Using the feedback from the panel, the school Principal will chose the campaign she likes best for each message, and we will implement those four to create TV commercials, Print Ads and Radio ads. Will they survive the Shark Tank?
