This week was amazing! We dove head first into our studies, did our first science experiment of the year, and opened our class store. What a week!

On Friday, we got our new 5th grade leadership positions.  Students worked hard last week to apply for their dream job.  Some positions even required teacher recommendations!  We started our ceremony with the official conferring of position.  Each student was awarded a lanyard by their teacher that indicated their position.  Once all the students were installed in their new jobs, the different teams met to develop a mission statement for their job.  It was such an exciting event!  You can check out photos below.

Classroom Journalists’ Corner
Every week we will hear the student perspective from our classroom journalists. This week they interviewed their classmates to find out how they felt about this week:

 “This week blew my mind we did so many great things.”

“This week was amazing 😀 we’ve learnt about many more things and it was very fun.”
