You could also look at this historically and figure out the impact of a Facebook life on historical figures.
There are multiple things that inspired this. One is Memento, a tiny camera that you wear clipped to your body that automatically takes and publishes pictures documenting your life. There are tons of other elements from current politicians that can be looped in.

I was listening to an NPR story on the Herbalife pyramid scheme drama (which is a fun story in and of itself). There’s a lot of people who thought of this before me. I’ll take that as a sign of validity as opposed to unoriginality.
