We have had an awesome and fun week in Room 18!
We have read lots of Kevin Henkes books and the students are practicing asking their own questions to the class about books that we have read! We continue to learn new sight words each week. We have learn 4 new sounds which are diagraphs! Ask your child about “The H Brothers” and what happens when you had an H to some letters.
We are counting backwards from 10 and continue to practice counting by 1’s to 100! I am so proud of how far everyone is counting!
In Science we have learned about Solids, Liquids, and Gases. We finished up this unit making Ice Cream Floats! The kids loved adding a solid (ice cream) to their liquid (7up) to make a gas!
