Feb. 17-21

This week we have finished our study of famous African Americans such as Arthur Ashe , Maggie Walker, and Martin Luther King. We have been counting by 10’s to 100 and enjoying counting our collections with a buddy that were sent in. We have learned all diagraphs in reading: sh, ch, th, wh. Ask your child to tell you the story of the “H Brothers” and the sounds these diagraphs make. We continue to work on spelling CVC words.

We had so much fun on Monday, Steam Day. It was centered around 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. We built beds to hold 5 monkeys, dropped paper bananas in a cup, catapulted monkeys across the crocodiles, and did directed monkey drawings!

More pictures from 100 day and also we love Cosmic Yoga!
