My name is Jenny Yonce and I am so excited for my 5th year at Echo Lake Elementary School!  I was the School Counselor at Johnson Elementary for 8 years prior to becoming a dolphin! I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 and got my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008.

I believe that all students should have the opportunity to have the support they need to succeed to their highest potential. My role is to advocate for each student in order to support him or her in developing personally, socially, academically, and in career exploration.

When I am not at school, you can catch me coaching swim team and gymnastics or cheering for my boys on the baseball field.  I have a wonderful husband and three sweet little boys named Charlie, Gavin, and Luca. 🙂 I love being with friends and family, going to Emerald Isle, volunteering for Comfort Zone Camp, and watching Virginia Tech football!
