Huge thank you to the ELES and HCMS PTA’s for funding a showing Screenagers for our parents and students! Thank you to Mrs. Otley and Mrs. Shrock for hosting this with me and the parents and students who attended. We are passionate about continuing the conversation about parenting in the digital world and the effects of social media and screen time on the developing brain. Echo Lake Dolphins are amazing! And AMAZINGLY kind!! 🙂 Here are a few of our Kindness Rocks that students created last week to celebrate Kindness Week at Echo Lake!

Hi Echo Lake Dolphins! It sure is great to be back at ELES with all of the wonderful students and staff!!! Thank you to everyone who participated and made our annual Giving Tree a HUGE success!!! We were able to help 43 children have a brighter holiday season! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity!

Lots of fun things are coming up in the new year! Our 5th graders will be registering for middle school classes. We will be talking in lessons about kindness and celebrate kindness week January 28th-February 1st. Look for information coming home about all of these things!

I appreciate all of the hugs and love I have received coming back. It is a GREAT place to be!

Hi Echo Lake Dolphins! I hope you all had a fun and restful summer!! We can’t wait to have a great year learning and growing!! I will be out on maternity leave for the start of the year as we are welcoming our 3rd boy into the Yonce family! As excited as I am to meet him, I am sad to miss the beginning of the year with our dolphins!!!

Mrs. Clary will be my board sub while I am out. She was the School Counselor at Gayton Elementary and you will love her! 🙂 Her email is jbclary@henrico.k12.va.us or you can give her a call. Students, she will be coming in each month for lessons until I get back.
