I want to start by thanking the wonderful parent volunteers who went to the zoo with us on Friday! We couldn’t have done it without you!!!! Thanks to these special moms (Harvey’s, Ellis’, Charlotte’s, Sophia’s)
We also had a exciting week of economics. On Tuesday students were producers and made products to sell. The students were given a Cub Buck to pay them for producing the products. On Wednesday we had a market to sell the goods. Students were able to go around and shop for an item they would like to purchase with the Cub Buck they earned. Great way to learn about producer/consumer, buyers/sellers!
This week we will learn about:
Language: Focus will be on writing, answering questions in writing, giving opinions in writing, review /or/ sound in words like horse, port and short, gathering information from non-fiction text
Math: Problem solving, word problems, number combinations of 7,8,9
Science: Natural Resources
