Summary
Students had the choice of projects 1-4. All choices must have a google docs page citing their sources they used for research.
1. Create a travel brochure and a less than 30 second commercial (radio or TV) about one of the twenty-four geographic locations learned in class.
2. Create a podcast/video about one of the major wars that occurred in Ancient Greece.
3. Biography video/podcast of the life of a famous Greek
4. Create a product of a major historical/architectural artifact or symbol and write a paper to explain significane of your product.
TIPC Ratings
Approaching. The project as a whole requires the students document their research in a google doc. The template the teacher used to model include a organized layout for students to state their questions to be answered, the information they found, and the source.
Not a focus of this lesson
Approaching. Students researched according to the questions they generated. The information gathered was utilized to create a product that demonstrate content mastery in a creative way. Students presented and defended their products including the real world impact in today’s society.
Ideal/Target. Students created, presented and defended their Greek products. Students works varied greatly from creating olive oil with a Greek cooking show podcast (samples of product for the class), Parthenon models, Greek Alphabets, to Biographies of a famous Greek.
