Calendars in Spanish – 5675

Summary

In pairs, students created their calendar vocabulary project.  The required elements included speaking content, written content and a learning assessment activity.  The learning assessment activity was a self-test that the student could use (i.e. matching, drag and drop, etc.)  These projects were posted on one of the partner’s google site.

TIPC Ratings

For this project, Research and Information Fluency  was not a focus.

 

Developing:  Upper level of developing as the students selected their partner and defined what each person did on the project.  Students also shared their product via their google site.

Ideal/Target:  Lower level of Ideal/Target.  Students selected the most appropriate digital tool to create their product.  In addition to displaying their vocabulary in written form, students had to provide an audio version.  The students expanded this to create a self test that would be used by other students.  These included creating drag and drop, matching, etc.. activities.  The teacher provided a rubric for scoring and self reflection.

Approaching:  Students created meaningful original work that the students selected the technology tool they felt best fit the job.  Included in the project was the self test which provided the opportunity to create some innovating assessments.
