Summary

Students will work in their teams to discuss and try to identify unknown rock samples. They will use brochures they created from research about the 3 types of rocks to guide them and the proscope to look closer at the samples. As a team, they will enter on a Google document what category of rock they think the sample is and their reasoning behind it. We will then post and share our results from each team as we go over the answers. Students will defend their answers if groups disagree.
