Dec. 2-6

I hope you and your family enjoyed Thanksgiving break! The children seemed happy to be back!

We have enjoyed reading stories about the gingerbread man. There are so many different ones-The Gingerbread Cowboy, The Gingerbread Man, The Gingerbread Baby and more! Ask your child which was his/her favorite! We continue to practice telling the beginning, middle, and end of stories. You can do this at home as well while reading books at night.

We are counting objects to 20 . Also we will be recognizing and writing numbers 1-20!

On Fun Friday, we had gingerbread cookies for snack. We also graphed which part we took a bite of first. head, arm, leg? Ask your child about our class graph and which had more and less. We ended the day by making gingerbread puppets.

Below are pictures from our Thanksgiving Feast! Thank you for sending in treats and supplies. We couldn’t do it without you! For steam, the students built a table of blocks and popsicle sticks to fit the thanksgiving paper food! Our little turkeys had so much fun!
