Sept. 30- Oct. 4

Happy October!

The students have enjoyed learning about apples! We have read fiction and nonfiction apple books and predicted what will happen next. In math we have graphed which apple we like best-red, yellow, or green. Ask your child what they thought was the best! On Fun Friday, we cooked applesauce in the class. Yummy! Most students loved the homemade applesauce. We enjoyed using our 5 senses, especially smelling and tasting!

Our field trip is coming up soon! Chaperones have been notified. If you have not heard from me, then you can follow the bus or meet us there. We will send more information closer to the trip.

Today HOMEWORK was sent home in your child’s daily folder. Please read the note that came home attached to it. Your child will receive 2 games to cut and play, a reading log, Raz kids password to sign up at home and read, and RED RAINBOW WORDS to practice. Homework will be sent home every 2 weeks. Please let me know if you have questions about homework!
