Brief Description of the Invention: Our invention uses a hat that attaches to a cardboard pole wrapped in duct tape. The pole supports the phone holder and keeps it high enough where it is still easy to see the device. To prevent the pole from falling forward we used Velcro to attach the pole to the hat and used tape to support it. It allows you to easily watch things on your phone without having to worry about dropping your phone because your arms are tired.

  1. I like the idea of this one a lot. I have this problem on a daily basis. The invention is a good idea, but I think it should be put together in a way where it wouldn’t have to be attached to a hat.

  2. The problem you came up with is very prevalent and I liked the solution you came up with. However, I think you could do a better job on design as it is bulky and a little bit sloppy.

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed Justin and Thomas’ modeling job (great choices), and it was well designed. ‘Twas pretty good if you ask me.

  4. This invention does help solve a serious problem, but I think this invention should work with more phones then 6 and 6s, such as Samsungs and iPhone 5’s and 4’s.

  5. Cool, but completely unoriginal. Not only is it similiar to the OverVid, it is also similiar to the Go-Pro.It is just being used in a different context.

  6. It is an ok idea, but I think you could’ve had some better supplies to make it a more effective and lasting product.

  7. The invention relates heavily to the teenage age group, it is a great idea but is bulky and simply wrapped in tape.

  8. I think the Bed Phat is a great product and solves the problem of your arms getting tired from holding your phone up in bed. However, I think you could also make one for books. Some people don’t have their phones in bed, but have books.

  9. Great idea, but you should improve it by making it able to be used for more phone types because what if I don’t have an iPhone6 or iPhone6s?

  10. This is an interesting solution to a very prevalent problem in our generation, but what if I don’t want to wear a hat to bed? I think that may be uncomfortable.
