Quintin Tedeschi and Andre Coetzee are co-leaders for the Christmas Tree Give-away this year. The event will take place this Saturday, 12/03 starting at 9am and will be finished by noon. However, we would like all our volunteers to be on site at the pavilion behind our church by 8am on 12/03. We have need for “tree wranglers” (teams of 2 or 3 who will carry trees to vehicles and then tie them to the vehicles roofs) and also volunteers to help out with miscellaneous events like kids activities, baking goods and Christmas ornament distribution and parking assistance. However our biggest need at this time is to have enough tree wranglers. Training for our volunteers will start at 8am sharp and we will have experienced tree wranglers who will show our volunteers how to properly, securely and safely tie the trees to the vehicles. We will also have students team leaders who will assist, direct and guide the student volunteers during the event.
