The students of the American Nuclear Society at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) are so excited to host the nuclear science fair for high school students across Virginia. We want to introduce high school students to career opportunities pertaining to nuclear science and technology available to them right here at home. The fair will feature technical schools and apprenticeship programs that funnel into the nuclear industry of Virginia as well as Virginia universities with nuclear engineering programs or courses. Additionally, universities with nuclear engineering programs from across the entire nation will be in attendance. We are encouraging all exhibitors to bring interactive displays so the students have exciting displays to help them get interested in STEM.
