The Henrico Youth Ambassadors are looking for adults, middle, and high school performers who rap, write poetry, or do spoken word focusing on Suicide Prevention, Substance (Drug) Abuse Prevention, or Bullying Prevention. Anything with a positive message around those areas. Participants do not have to necessarily go to a Henrico school. Slots are available for 10 middle and 10 high school students. HYA is looking for approximately 5 adults to participate also.
Adults are exhibition and cannot win a prize. Students are eligible to win the following:
- 1st Place – $75.00 gift card
- 2nd Place – $50.00 gift card
- 3rd Place $25.00 gift card
These will be awarded to both middle and high school participants respectively. All participants will receive a $10 participation gift card.
