Center classes are very interactive. Above, students are seen holding press conferences, impersonating historical figures, and engaging in discussion to dive into studied material.
As students progress in the center, they will be given the opportunity to give their own TED talks, host booths at the homecoming fair and happiness summit, participate in a national academic competition and a multitude of other projects. These activities allow students to apply what they learn in the classroom when solving practical problems.
Center students take some specific courses but fully participate in all aspects of Glen Allen High School. They are active participants in sports, clubs, band, battle of the classes, and all that Glen Allen has to offer.
