Services

School Counseling works with students in three primary ways:

Individual Counseling

Children often feel that they have no one they can talk to. Individual counseling can provide the child with a safe, caring setting to discuss issues that they may be too embarrassed or fearful to speak to others about. Counselors then work with parents and staff to make sure that our children stay and feel safe while at school and beyond.

Group Counseling

Sometimes, students have concerns or areas of difficulty that are similar to those of their classmates. A school counselor can offer the student the chance to receive assistance alongside peers in an interactive format, with each child sharing their own experiences for the benefit of others. Students often feel a sense of belonging and learn new ways of solving problems from each other.
