This week we will learn about:
Language: review blends, practice setting a purpose for reading, make predictions, review story order and text features. We will also learn to write and add an excellent ending to our stories
Math: combinations to ten using addition and subtraction, equality using number sentence (3+4 = 5+2), equal parts and begin fractions unit
Social Studies: Famous Virginians focusing on Maggie Walker and Arthur Ashe – look for study guides to come home this week!
