Mrs. Dowdy had the opportunity to kick off Women’s History Month with an amazing field trip for the Dual Enrollment Intro to Women and Gender Studies class to GMU to hear Dr Kakenya Ntaiya speak about her work to empower women and girls in Kenya.
Dr Ntaiya took time afterwards to speak with our students individually-it was an inspiring morning!
