ATTENTION CURRENT CFA FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS!!!
Any CFA student who wishes to apply/audition for a second CFA Curriculum area for the 2019-2020 school year must schedule a planning meeting with Dr. Poxon and Ms. K. We need to confirm that your academic requirements have been or will be met; and confirm that you have room in your schedule to take an additional CFA class. Remember that students who are not in good academic standing are not eligible to apply for a second CFA curriculum area.
We are planning on holding the meetings the week of December 2. Please send Dr. P an e-mail if you want to have a meeting with us (slpoxon@henrico.k12.va.us).
Once you have met with Dr. Poxon and Ms. K, you will need to get a paper copy of the HCPS Specialty Center application – available online or in the CFA Office beginning Monday, November 18 – and complete the application. All applications and application components are due to Dr. Poxon in the CFA Office by Friday, January 17 at 4:30! No late applications can be accepted!! All applicants must plan on attending the CFA Auditions on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
