Today was CFA Symposium Day where our performing arts students took workshops and masterclasses with guest artists, college professors and industry professionals!
Our students got to participate in amazing masterclasses:
- Stage Combat with Emily Turner from Virginia Stage Combat School
- Vocal coaching with Colin Ruffer
- Prop It Up! (theatre prop design) with Michael Jones
- Hip Hop with Jasmine McKenzie
- African Storytelling and Improv with Desiree Dabney
- Makeup (basic theatrical, bruises and old age, and fantasy) with Gabriella Taddeo
- Acting for the Camera with Denise Folley
- Audition Techniques and Monologue with Malcolm Holmes
- Tap with Mary Manzari
Between all the amazing masterclass opportunities of the day, the performing arts CFA students were able to hear from artist and educator Dr. Michael Stepniak.
