Hallie Wilson, a senior in CFA’s Visual Arts program, wondered just that. Last year she was given an assignment to use a box in a creative way. While glancing at the huge color printer in her art class, she got an idea and ran with it. What if little people were inside furiously painting pages as they came out of the printer? And so she created just that. The single project won a Scholastic Gold Award. This year she decided to expand on that same idea and created a series called “Technology People” which includes a sewing machine, microwave, record player, television, printer, lamp, blender and computer. The series won her the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Medal . We’re so proud of Hallie! Check out her story in the RTD.
