Column: Zimmerman innocent until proven guilty

His name was Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old who was shot and killed on February 26 allegedly by George Zimmerman, 28, who was charged a month-hand-a-half later with second-degree murder and released on $150,000 bond. Mr. Zimmerman hasn’t gone to trial, but he has already been tried in the court of public opinion.

Abiding by the dress code is simple; however, many students have a problem following it when it comes to ripped jeans, pencil skirts, leggings, fishnet stockings and yoga pants, among other things. School is a place to learn, not to show off the latest trends.
