Professional development is key to maintaining an effective staff. I was very excited to write this grant allowing Tuckahoe Middle School to invite two constultants who would bring engaging strategies to our staff. At Tucakhoe Middle School, we have placed a huge emphasis on increasing engagement and focusing on student learning styles. This grant allows our staff to participate in professional learning that is relevant and ongoing. Tuckahoe Middle School received notice that we were awarded the grant in the amount of $6000 on January, 30, 2015. Additional support for the grant comes from the PTA, couseling, library, SCA and the school.
