Lesson Summary
During this cross-curricular activity, students (in groups of 4-5) will use drones to fly cargo shipments (products/industries) to their corresponding Virginia geographical regions. While doing so, the students will construct story lines to guide the drones, use mathematical content to code the drones, apply their Virginia studies knowledge in order to drop the products in their appropriate regions, and make distinctions among observations, conclusions, inferences, and predictions based on their programming.
