Lesson Summary
Mind full or Mindful? Mindfulness is an important but often difficult concept for students to grasp. After learning about mindfulness from their school counselor, students in Mrs. Royal’s class were tasked with developing digital stories in Scratch to teach about a mindfulness concept. Student had to use their critical thinking and problem solving along with creativity and innovation to develop their digital stories in Scratch to reinforce their knowledge of mindfulness. Their digital stories were also uploaded to a website in order to be used in the future for class lessons by their school counselor.
