This lesson is for : Grade 5:

Summary

Students were asked to think and generate questions about the ocean and the many types of pollution that does or may affect the oceans. After generating questions, students researched their topic in the library using a variety of web based sites and non-digital sources in library. Notes were taken on Google Docs and would be used later for the creation of a presentation that would show their research effectively and persuade others to get involved to protect their oceans. Students had a choice on how to present their research through Google presentations, Comic Life, or any other source available to them on the school. Final presentations would be presented by each group to the class in order to work on their oral presentation skills.
