Summary

Students researched community members on PebbleGo, Brainpop, and trade books and recorded the information using Vocaroo.com. They attached QR codes to the recordings and then placed them on a diagram of the community.

Rating: Approaching – Explanation: Students chose the site or book to research the community role. Students recorded their research using Vocaroo and shared using QR codes.

Rating: Developing – Explanation: Individual project that came together as a class community. Students communicated when choosing jobs to make sure they all had different jobs.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving

Rating: Developing – Explanation: Related their job to the community. Discussed the kinds of jobs were needed for their rural community. Example- Had to think about where their trash would go.

Creativity & Innovation

Rating: Approaching – Explanation: As a class they created the community. Students had to explain their jobs and why they were important.
