A Virtual Museum

Summary

Students selected a work of art by a Spanish artist to research. In their research, they focused on the significance of this particular work of art and how it relates to or what it reveals about the culture in which it was created. Students then used this research to create a ThingLink of the artwork, connecting it to their own ideas, related works of art, and other resources. Students also wrote an original piece, in Spanish, explaining what the work of art means to them or how it “speaks” to them. Finally, students viewed the ThingLink creations of other students, chose one, and responded to the initial student’s response.
