Summary
Everyone faces struggles in life, some of which are individual crises, and others that are faced by entire groups of people; artful expression can bind people together in the face of trying situations. This project, My Story, is a culminating activity from the unit The Opposite of Fear in which students reflect on their lives to tell a story using a variety of digital media tools of their choice. The message of their story focuses on the student’s experiences with troubling times or challenges, and the message the student want to portray to their community and world. Students share their creations on a class website, where their peers have an opportunity to view, critique, and reflect upon the stories.
