Summary
Some art is meant to be observed, some art is meant to be performed! Some art is BOTH! In this lesson, students created their own original music and lyrics which was then performed by the class. There is nothing more exciting that having something you designed brought to life.

Approaching – Students chose their own groups and were responsible for dividing up their skill sets in order to accomplish the assignment. They were allowed to use resources available to them (sheet music, computer, etc.) to better understand how to write lyrics for their song.
