Summary
Students researched and created an original public service announcement. This could be made on the computer, using software of the students’ choice, or on a poster board. Citations had to be used for research and for images, and the students thoroughly researched the topics using digital sources they selected. We spent a class period covering persuasive writing in general, PSAs in specific, citations, and choosing topics. We then spent a class period in the library researching, and another class period with our ITRT learning how to create projects. The students collaborated on the projects using Google Drive to share ideas and compile resources.
