Summary
This lesson was designed to have students deal with real data that they collect. Students needed to collaborate in groups and analyze the energy used throughout the school. Along with gathering background research, students designed studies around the school, collected and analyzed their data.

Students assemble and synthesize information to address a need within the school using a variety of research strategies.
Students we given the freedom to choose their own groups and assign duties in those groups. Through their research, students collaborated with teachers and students within and beyond the classroom to gather their information.
Once students completed their research, they had to come up with solutions to help make the school more environment friendly.
Students used a variety of tools to complete this project
