Summary
This is a science lesson that uses technology based rotations to teach students the concepts related to the season of winter. Students used the iPad app ShowMe along with Pixie and Discovery Science.

Students are using digital tools to communicate their ideas and must use active listening to be able to share their partner’s thoughts.
Students are justifying their choices when creating the Pixie picture and i-pad ShowMe software. Students are also engaged in open-ended tasks
Students are creating Pixie pictures as well as creating narrations justifying why their i-pads pictures are examples of winter. The closing will have students reflect on other seasons and how they would differ to winter.
