Students present their projects to the class using SchoolSpace, an online discussion board, and/or Youtube.com. Students worked to complete teacher-made questions with a partner. Communication was limited to the classroom for the students, though it is on a Science blog and available to anyone. Students are required to contact a field expert as part of the research to gain authentic understanding.

This lesson is in the Approaching level of Critical Thinking and Problem Solving.
Students select resources, topics, and content from a variety of resources. Students apply digital tools to think critically and solve open-ended authentic tasks that require higher order thinking skills as they decide what details to include in the interview process, discussion forum, posts, and presentation. Students generated and responded thoughtfully to purposeful questions.

This lesson is in the Developing level of Creativity and Innovation.
Students make connections between science careers and scientists, and contemporary issues. Students blend technology and personal choice to generate a final product. They question, and summarize existing knowledge using a variety of digital tools.
