Summary
Students were asked to pick and read a book of their choice. Students were then asked to take a “book report adventure!” where students would have to complete six assignments in class during Reading and LA block over a period of two weeks. Students could pick from a total of 9 diverse activities. The project outcome allows for students to be extremely creative and earn a chance to dress up as their favorite character found in their book. It ended up being a grade level challenge, where each class voted for a class winner. All winners earned a fun, yummy lunch with the 3rd grade teachers.
